Who can use this feature

Rights: every user.

Location: the date range and the comparison selector, at the left of the filter bar.

Choose the period your dashboards cover, and the earlier period it is compared with. The comparison drives every variation figure: the "Var" columns and the badges next to your indicators.

Choose a period

  1. Click the date range.
  1. Pick a shortcut: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days or Last 30 days. Or use Pick a month or Pick a year to jump to a calendar month or year (months that have not started yet are greyed out). Or click Pick custom range, then click a start date and an end date in the calendar.
  1. Wait for the figures to refresh.

Choose the comparison

Open the comparison selector, next to the date range, and choose:

  • Previous period: the period just before yours, with the same length. If you look at 7 days, you are compared with the 7 days before.
  • Previous year: the same dates, one year earlier.

Variations are all calculated against this period: NPS in points, Responses and Verbatim Rate in points or percent, per touchpoint, per segment and per tag.

Hover Previous period to see the dates being compared.

Good to know

  • Your period stays on. The period you chose is kept when you change page and when you refresh the page.
  • The date range is not a filter. Saved searches keep your filters but not the date range.
  • A very short or very recent period can show "Not enough data". Choose a longer period.

Troubleshooting

A variation looks wrong.

Check the comparison selector. Variations always follow the comparison you chose.

I applied a saved search and my dates did not change.

Saved searches do not store the date range. Set the date range after applying the search.

I see "Not enough data".

No response in the period matches your filters. Choose a longer period or remove a filter.
