Save, reuse and edit a search

2 min read

Who can use this feature

Rights: every user can save a search and share it. Only the person who created a search and admins can delete it.

Location: the filter bar, next to the date range.

Save a combination of filters so that you, and your team if you wish, can apply it again in one click.

Save a search

  1. Set your filters.
  1. Click Save.
  1. In the Save Search window, enter a Name.
  1. Turn on the Share with the Team toggle if your colleagues should be able to use this search. Leave it off to keep the search for yourself.
  1. Confirm.

Apply a saved search

Open Select a saved search and choose a search. Its filters are applied to the page.

Update a saved search

  1. Apply the search and change its filters.
  1. Click Save.
  1. Replace the existing search, or save the new version under another name to keep the original.

Delete a saved search

You can delete a saved search if you created it, or if you are an admin.

Good to know

  • Only filters are saved. The date range is not part of a saved search, so applying a search keeps the date range you are on. See Untitled.
  • Filters are cleared when you refresh the page. To find a combination again later, save it as a search.
  • No rename. To change a name, save the search under a new name and delete the old one.
  • No default search. You cannot set a search to open automatically.
  • No known limit on the number of saved searches.

Troubleshooting

A colleague cannot see my search.

The search is probably not shared. Save it again with Share with the Team turned on.

I cannot delete a search.

Only the person who created the search and admins can delete it.

I cannot rename my search.

Renaming is not available yet. Save the search under a new name instead.

The period is different from when I saved my search.

Saved searches do not store the date range. Set the date range you want after applying the search.
