Overview

Templates accumulate: one per touchpoint, per brand, per country. This guide covers how to find the one you are looking for, and what you can do to it once you have.

Find a template

  1. Open the list. Go to the Templates page, under Content in the sidebar. Each row shows the template thumbnail, its language badges, and the columns Template name, Type, Updated at and Created at. The columns are not sortable, the list is not paginated and it cannot be exported, so the two controls below are how you narrow it down.
  1. Filter by channel. Open the All dropdown at the top left and pick a type, among Email (Basic), Email (Custom), SMS and WhatsApp.
  1. Search by name. In the Template name search field, marked with a magnifying glass, type any part of the name.

Act on a template

Once you have found the row, the actions are split between the Edit button and the row menu ⋮.

  • Edit it. Click Edit on the right of the row to reopen the form, filled with the current values. Your changes apply to every dispatch that happens after you save, since a template carries no version history. Messages already sent are unaffected.
  • Duplicate it. Open ⋮ and select Duplicate. This is the fastest way to start a variant of an existing template without rebuilding its branding.
  • Copy its ID. Open ⋮ and select Copy id. The identifier is what you quote when you contact support about a specific template.
  • Favourite it. Open ⋮ and select Make favorite, or click the star next to the template name. The same path removes it from your favourites.
  • Delete it. Open ⋮ and select Delete, then confirm in the dialog. Once confirmed the deletion takes effect immediately.
